Too much focus
October 01, 2013 at 11:11 AM
Unfortunately there can be too much focus if it's to the detriment of other things in your life, such as family, friends, and your own healthy lifestyle. Balance is a hard goal to achieve but important never-the-less. I have found myself falling into the trap of taking on too much - running two businesses, the family household, and charity work. My own health has suffered over the winter months as I have stressed over various money and time issues. Some conclusions I have come to, is to ensure I have family and friend time, eat a more balanced diet (everything in moderation, I think the saying goes) and start trying to walk instead of drive wherever possible.
When you work through your budget and savings plan, remember to allow for some expenditure for you and your social life as it is important to maintain that balance.
