The "Yes" Year
September 03, 2013 at 9:28 AM
Last Saturday evening we went to an event where there was a guess speaker who was talking about a book she had read. The book encouraged the reader to stop letting doubt dictate your decisions. The Guess Speaker decided to have a "Yes" year where even though she had doubts about starting a business, she started the business anyway. The outcome was very successful, the business took off straight away as soon as it was launched on the web. The Guess Speaker went onto other successful ventures and has been very pleased with deciding to have a year where doubts were ignored and had the "can do" attitude.
Its a great motivator for many of us to get on with the things we have been putting off because of our doubts. If finances or managing money aren't your thing, then perhaps its time to park those doubts and at least try a course or two which will help you to take control of your money. You may even enjoy your money more with the improvement of your money skills.
